Why You Won’t Find Client Testimonials on My Website

 

As a registered psychologist in Australia, I'm committed to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards in my practice. You may notice that, unlike many other services, my website does not include client testimonials. That is intentional—and here's why.

 

AHPRA Regulations Prohibit Testimonials for Psychologists

 

Under the National Law regulated by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Psychology Board of Australia, psychologists are not permitted to use testimonials in advertising their services. This includes any form of feedback that discusses the clinical aspects of treatment or care outcomes, whether it’s written, spoken, or posted online.

This rule isn’t about withholding positive feedback—many clients are deeply appreciative of the care I provide (and I've seen thousands of clients). Instead, it’s about protecting the integrity of psychological services and ensuring public trust.
